A eucalyptus tree in an industrial area at the entrance of Ofakim, a small town in the Negev. Two years after the first image was taken, the tree has disappeared. The subtracting function of time creates a state of absence and the necessity of coping with it. Similar diptychs appear as elemental structures in my work throughout the years in different bodies of work.
